The cold weather is finally here and so is the snow!! It snowed most of the weekend and continues this morning. The McConkey’s lift at PCMR opened this weekend and the skiing is surprisingly good! With the colder temps, the resorts are in full snow-making mode so the skiing for winter breaks should be good! Deer Valley resort is also officially open as of this past weekend. Come on out and enjoy the snow!

Well, in case you didn’t hear, we got our first “real snow” over the last day or so! Park City has about 6-8 inches and more up top. The temperatures are also great for the snow-making guns which are fired up and making snow! Up north, Powder Mountain and Snowbasin are reporting over 2 feet! People were up hiking getting their first face shots of the season! Hopefully, this a sign of good things to come!

Fender Bender this Saturday!

Come join us this Saturday for the first “Fender Bender” cruiser local pub & distillery crawl. We will start at The Yard on Kearns Blvd. and head to Wasatch Brew Pub, High West Distillery, and Squatter’s Brew Pub. We will then head back to The Yard for the afternoon festivities of the first annual Cycle-fest! KPCW is organizing the festivities at The Yard with live music, food and beverage vendors, bike demos, skills/ maintenance clinics and more! If you need to borrow a bike, please let us know in advance! Otherwise bring your own bike and come on and join us!

Summer Is Here! First Cruiser Ride is June 14th!

Well, the weather is great and summer is here! Locals are already out in droves enjoying the trail system and beautiful weather. This year, Silver Star Ski & Sport is hosting 3 scheduled Thursday cruiser rides. The first one is coming up on June 14th! Cruiser rides are free with your own bike or $10 to rent one. Trailer and tag-a-longs are $5. We hope to see you there!

Well, the Christmas crowd is here and the snow finally too. The skiing is actually really good despite Mother Natures lack of natural snow. It’s still amazing how excited everyone gets when those little white flakes start coming down! Happy Holidays and let it snow!
